around 4-5 days back my lappy got updated automatically and when it restarted it started on low resoultion and when i tried to open the nvidia app or setting a dialog box appeared saying (you are not currently using a display attached to an nvidia gpu) so i tried searching fior fix online and tried and nothing worked so i removed the nvidia driver using DDU and tried reinstalling it again for some reason it is failing everytime. accidently i removed intel drivers as well with it and i tried reinstalling it they are also failing. i have some updates lined up in updates and security ,some of them gets installed and ask for restart and when i restart it says cant install properly undoing changes. i have tried everything from recovey option(which says to insert your windows installation or recovery media) to installing downloading media creation tool frowm microsoft website to install windows but everytime it says windows 10 installation failed.

so all my audio and display drivers are not working and i cant even install them and i am stuck in low resoltion

in device manager no display adapter option is there, there are options like 3d video controller and video controller with yellow mark and when i try to update them they say (third party inf does not contain digital signature information).

what should i do??? please help.

    Welcome supriy vishnoi,

I'm sorry you're dealing with this issue. Since both Windows Update and driver installations are failing, I'd like to narrow down the cause before suggesting more advanced repairs.

    Please let me know:

    1. What is the exact laptop model (manufacturer and model number)?
    2. What Windows version and build are you running? Press Windows + R, type winver, and share the result.
    3. When you try to install the Intel or NVIDIA driver, what is the exact error message?
    4. In Device Manager, right-click one of the devices with the yellow mark, select Properties > Details > Hardware Ids, and post the first Hardware ID shown.

Also, as a quick test, please open Command Prompt as Administrator and run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Let us know whether it completes successfully or reports an error code.

Since Windows 10 reached end of support on October 14, 2025, it is still possible to troubleshoot the issue, but knowing the laptop model and hardware IDs will help determine whether this is a driver-signing problem or Windows component corruption.

    Looking for your update.
