Trying to create a Store developer account, but Publisher name is not available

• Are you typing just "Skai", or your full registered business name?
• Do you hold a registered trademark or legal business incorporation documents for "Skai"?
• Are you registering an Individual or Company account in Partner Center?

Step 1: Try using your full legal company name

Partner Center publisher display names must be unique across the entire Store. If "Skai" is already taken by another entity, try entering your full registered legal name:

• Go back to the Account Details / Publisher Profile section in Partner Center.
• Enter your complete legal business name including the legal suffix.
• Check if the name becomes available.

Step 2: Submit a name availability request (If you own the trademark/legal name)

If you legally own "Skai" and require that exact display name:

• Complete your account registration using your legal entity name first.
• Go to Microsoft Partner Center Support.
• Select Account settings > Legal verification.
• Open a support ticket requesting a publisher name reservation, and attach your official business registration or trademark documentation. Support can manually assign reserved publisher names after verifying your documents.
