Accessing Microsoft Teams using organizational or personal credentials

Hello Maksymilian,
Based on your description, the affected user is unable to sign in to Microsoft applications after a Windows operating system reinstallation. The issue appears during authentication and returns the error:
Something went wrong [58tm1]
To support you, I need more information:
1/ Does the same sign-in error occur in other Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, or OneDrive, or is it limited to Teams only?
To determine whether this is a Microsoft-wide authentication issue or a specific application issue:
2/ Are you able to sign in successfully through the Microsoft 365 portal, Outlook on the web, or Teams on the web using the same account?
3/ Could you share a screenshot of the full error window, including the troubleshooting details section?
Please remove or mask any personal information before posting the screenshot publicly.
4/ Is this affecting only this user, or are other users within the same organization experiencing similar sign-in issues?
5/ After reinstalling Windows, was the device successfully rejoined or registered again with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)?
Along the way, I'd like to share a few troubleshooting steps and some screenshots I prepared to help you check whether they can identify the cause of this behavior.
1/ Verify Device Registration Status
Since the issue started after a Windows reinstallation, validating the device registration status is the most important next step.
Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:
dsregcmd /status
Please review the following values::
AzureAdJoined : YES
AzureAdPrt : YES
If either value shows: No
it may indicate that Windows cannot obtain the authentication token required by Microsoft 365 applications, which can result in sign-in failures similar to error 58tm1.
2/ Test with a New Windows Profile
Create a temporary local Windows user profile:
Settings -> Accounts -> Other Users -> Add account
Sign in to the new profile and test: Teams/ Outlook/ Word using the same Microsoft 365 account.
Note:
- If sign-in works in the new profile, the original Windows profile may be corrupted.
- If the issue persists in both profiles, the problem is more likely related to device registration or authentication services.
