    Hi Steve Fedon,

I can see that the AI Answer has already covered adding the proofing tools in Microsoft 365. As an additional suggestion, I recommend checking Settings > Time & language > Language & region and confirming that English, French and Polish are installed in Windows. For each language, open Language options and verify that the appropriate keyboard layout is available. Once installed, you can switch between languages while typing by pressing Windows + Spacebar, which can help Windows and Microsoft 365 recognize and proof text more accurately when you work across multiple languages.

You may also want to test spelling in a new Word document. If French and Polish are recognized correctly in a new document but not in an existing one, the issue may be related to that document's formatting or language configuration rather than the proofing tools themselves.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or run into any issues, please let me know and I'll be happy to help further.

To add French and Polish spell check in Microsoft 365 apps such as Word or Outlook:

    1. Open Word.
    2. Go to Review > Language > Language preferences.
    3. If French or Polish is listed with Proofing available, select it.
    4. If it is not installed, select Add a language.
    5. Choose French or Polish.
    6. Check Get proofing tools.
    7. Select Add.

After the languages are added, turn on automatic language detection:

    1. Go to Review > Language > Set Proofing Language.
    2. Select Detect language automatically.

If spell check still does not work correctly in mixed-language text, select the text and set the proofing language manually from Review > Language > Set Proofing Language.

In Outlook, the Review tab is available while editing or composing an email.
