    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out.

If the steps provided by the AI do not work for you, click the clock in your taskbar or menu > Turn on set time automatically.

Also, open your browser settings > go to your browser menu > Select Help or About to check for updates.

Temporarily turn off web shielding or HTTPS scanning in your antivirus to see if the issue is fixed.

Yes. In Microsoft Edge, insecure-connection warnings are controlled under the browser security settings.

    Try these steps:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge.
    2. Select Settings and more in the upper-right corner.
    3. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
    4. Select Security.
    5. Make sure Get alerts about insecure connections is turned on.
    6. Choose the warning level:
      • Alerts you about insecure public sites (Default)
      • Alerts for about insecure public and private sites

    What this means:

    • HTTP sites are not secure because data can be sent in plain text.
    • HTTPS sites encrypt data and are the secure version.
    • In Edge, a secure site shows a connection icon in the address bar. If a site has no valid certificate or has an invalid, expired, or self-signed certificate, the connection is not secure.

If pages that used to work suddenly stop loading in Edge, also try:

    1. Update Edge: Settings and more > Settings > About Microsoft Edge.
    2. Clear cached data: Settings and more > History > Open history page > Delete browsing data > choose All time > select Browsing history and Cached images and files > Clear now.
    3. Restart the computer and test again.
    4. If security software is installed, make sure it is up to date, because third-party security software can affect browsing.

Important: turning off these warnings is not recommended. If a page is marked insecure, avoid entering passwords, payment details, or other personal information on that site.
