Turn off the phone camera connection, then select the built-in camera in the app used for the test.
- Open Settings on the PC.
- Go to Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices > Manage devices.
- Under the linked Android device, turn off Use as connected camera.
- This stops Windows from offering the phone as the connected camera.
- Open the test app or browser page again and choose the PC’s built-in camera from its camera selector.
If the PC camera still does not appear:
- Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras.
- Check whether the built-in camera is listed under Disabled cameras.
- If it is, select it and choose Enable.
- Note: enabling a camera requires administrator access.
- In Settings > Privacy & security > Camera, make sure camera access is turned on for apps.
- Restart the app, or restart Windows if needed.
In the Windows Camera app, if multiple cameras are available, use the Change camera icon at the top right to switch to the built-in camera.
