Since latest Excel release, a form on my Excel project reports an out of memory error

I have an excel solution which uses approx. 10 sheets, a number of forms, classes etc. One of the forms will not open in development or user mode and reports an Out of Memory error since the latest release of Office 365 - Friday 18th August 2026.

Previous versions of the file also do not work so I know it is not a corrupt file.

I had a colleague try this on her computer which does not have the latest release of Excel and it works. I had her export the form and when I try to import it onto the project on my machine after deleting the original I get the following log error.

Line 2: Property OleObjectBlob in Calculator could not be set.

This project it very important and about to role out to users so this is quite urgent.

Can you please advise on a mechanism to resolve this issue.

Here are the errors reported when I try to open the form in Developer mode (VBA) in Excel.

The Error "OleObjectBlob in Calculator could not be set." is from the log file when I remove the form and then try and import it from the working machine (older version)

This form uses activex controls and vba code. Here are the references used:-

I know you have asked to roll back to the previous version but this will not fix my problem as this solution will be rolled out to a number of users soon and they all have the most up to date versions of Office (Auto Update). To roll back everyone is just not feasible.

Based on your description, I understand that the issue started occurring after updating to the latest version of Excel. At the same time, your colleague, who is using an earlier Office version and has not installed the latest update, is able to work with the same file without experiencing this issue.

To help determine whether the issue is related to the recent Office update, could you please follow the steps in the following Microsoft article to revert Office to an earlier version that matches your colleague's version? How to revert to an earlier version of Office - Microsoft Support

After reverting the Office version, please test the affected Excel file again and let us know whether the issue still occurs.

In addition, could you please provide the following information?

A screenshot of the complete error message, including the message stating "OleObjectBlob in Calculator could not be set."
Details about whether the workbook contains or uses VBA macros, forms, ActiveX controls, or any custom add-ins.
The Office version and build number currently installed on your device, as well as the version your colleague is using
