Error on system

WE keep getting the following error message since yester day

System error &H80004005(-214767259). Unspecified error

We then press Ok and get the following message

Compile error in hidden module : This Workbook. This error commonly occurs when code is incompatiblewiththe version platform or architecture of this application. Click Help for information on how to correct this error

We don't know why this has suddenly started to happen and would appreciate any help

    The message suggests a problem with an add-in for Excel.

    Template add-ins would usually be in the XLStart folder which you can access via the Run dialog box. Hold the Windows logo key as you press R; in the Open dialog box, type %appdata%\Microsoft\Excel\XLStart and press Enter.

    With Excel closed, move any macro-enabled files out of that folder and see if the error message goes away.
