Good morning

I'm not able to reverse Teams, it appears that I don't have the necessary permissions to access, but we haven't changed anything to make this error occur.

How should we proceed to be able to access it again?

Thank you,

    Hello @Wells Isadora

First, I'd like to clarify the issue to make sure I can assist you correctly:

1/ Could you please confirm whether you're unable to sign in to your Teams account, or if you're having trouble accessing specific files, teams, or channels within the Teams app?

2/ Have you tried signing in to Teams on the web to check whether it works normally there?

    https://teams.cloud.microsoft/

3/ You mentioned that you may have lost the necessary permissions. Could you please let me know if you receive any error messages at the point where you're getting stuck? If so, does the message mention which permission is required?

You can also take a screenshot of the issue (please remove or blur any personal information) and include it in your reply.

4/ Which type of account are you using?

    • School account (@edu...)
    • Work account (@companyname...)
    • Personal account (@hotmail.com, @outlook.com, etc.)

5/ If this is a sign-in issue, have you tried all available verification methods, such as SMS, a phone call, email, or the Microsoft Authenticator app?

I look forward to hearing from you.

If Teams shows that access is blocked or that the account does not have the required permissions, start with these checks:

    1. Select the Sign in banner or button in Teams and complete the sign-in flow again, including any MFA prompt.
    2. If the sign-in window does not appear, check the notification area near the clock for a Teams icon with a badge, then open it from there.
    3. If that still does not work, quit Teams from the notification area and reopen it.
    4. Make sure the device is connected to the network required by the organization before opening Teams. If a VPN is required, connect to it first.
    5. Avoid switching between networks while Teams is open.
    6. Update Teams from profile picture > Check for updates.

If the issue is specifically a sign-in problem, common causes include:

    • the organization requires a specific network such as VPN
    • a sign-in risk requires identity verification
    • a password change is required
    • the device does not meet organization requirements

If the error is tied to a Teams sign-in code, these documented actions apply:

    • 0xCAA20004: contact the IT admin to confirm Microsoft Entra ID configuration policies.
    • 0xCAA70004: this can indicate a proxy or network interception issue; the IT admin should check proxy configuration or software such as Fiddler.
    • 0xCAA70007, 0xCAA82EE2, 0xCAA82EE7: verify Internet connectivity, then have the IT admin check firewall or app access.
    • 0xCAA90018: sign in again with the correct Microsoft 365 credentials.

If this affects only newly created users or continues after re-authentication, the next step is to have the IT admin verify Microsoft Teams org settings in Microsoft 365 Admin Center > Settings > Org settings > Microsoft Teams and continue with Microsoft Support for backend investigation if needed.
