Why am I repeatedly told wrongly that my microsoft cloud storage is almost full?

I keep getting a message when I open up Teams that my storage is almost full, when I barely have anything stored. When I select the option to 'free up space' it tells me that I have only used 0.4Gb of the 5Gb allowance.

I am worried as it is telling me that I won't be able to use Teams once the storage is full.

Does anyone know how to get it to recognise my usage accurately so that this doesn't keep happening?

    1. Open an incognito tab and paste the link here: https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/accounts-category/storage
    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account. Ensure you sign in with the same account you used to sign in to Microsoft Teams.
    3. Post a screenshot of the page showing your total cloud storage used. 'Make sure you expand the Microsoft Storage and E-mail Storage section.'

    Note: With a Microsoft account, you get 5Gb of OneDrive cloud storage and 15Gb of Outlook email storage. If you exceed any one of the limits, you will receive this error.

    If you have enough storage, try signing out of your Microsoft account in Teams, then sign back in.
