Dear @Mark Ollerton,
Based on your description, when attempting to add a second account (@ollerton-commercial.co.uk) to Microsoft Teams alongside your personal Outlook account, Teams displays the error: "Access denied for the resource. User actionable configuration error" (Tag: 4k709). You have tried basic troubleshooting but cannot resolve the issue.
The error "Access denied for the resource. User actionable configuration error" typically indicates that the issue is related to the Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, account permissions, or authentication policies associated with the @ollerton-commercial.co.uk account rather than the Teams client itself.
Here are some suggestions you can try:
1/Verify that the work account can sign in independently
2/Check Microsoft 365 Licensing
3/Review Conditional Access Policies
4/Clear Teams and Cache
5/Check Tenant Restrictions
6/ Clear Credentials cache
I hope information above can help you resolve the issue, feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.
