MS Access printing bug after 17.08.2026 updates

The first page of an MS Access report is printed normally, while a later page is reduced to about one-quarter size in the upper-left corner, after 17.08.2026 updates.

Could you please confirm your Access version and build number? You can find this under File > Account > About Access.

Based on my research, I found a few other users experiencing similar printing issues in Access (Version 2607, Build 16.0.20228.20188, and Version 2608, Build 16.0.20326.20072), where the first page prints normally but subsequent pages are reduced in size and appear in the upper-left corner.

As a temporary workaround, you may consider rolling back Microsoft 365 Apps to an earlier build to see if this resolves the issue. You can follow the steps in this Microsoft article: How to revert to an earlier version of Office | Microsoft Support

Since similar behavior has been observed by multiple users, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support for further investigation.

You can contact Microsoft support by going to Microsoft Contact Us > Type "Support" and click Get Help > Click Sign in to contact Support at the bottom of the page. > Under products and Services, select Microsoft 365 and Office Option > Under category, select technical Support > Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

I updated version 2607 to 2608, but the problem was not solved. I changed the printing procedure and print exported reports in pdf format using sumatrapdf called from MS Access.

Thank you for the update and for sharing your workaround.

As I mentioned in my previous reply, other users have experienced similar printing issues with both Version 2607 and Version 2608. Since updating from Version 2607 to 2608 did not resolve the issue, if possible, you may consider rolling back Microsoft 365 Apps to a previously working build, such as Version 2606, Build 16.0.20131.20154, to see if this helps resolve the issue.

Hi Dora!

It all works fine with Version 2606 on my computer. The Accde (compiled Accdb with version 2606) also works fine. But, when I deploy the ACCDE file on RDP server, where an old Access Version 1808 is installed, the same problems appear. Regards, Milan

Hi Dora! I fixed the printing bug by redesigning the reports with sureport on the top. After removal.of those subreports everything works fine.
