Testing Endpoint Privilege Management and allot of problems with VS Code and Postman

EPM Automatic elevation rules were created for VS Code and Postman. After the rules were deleted (no longer needed — both apps are user-profile-based, not requiring admin), both apps stopped launching entirely. Symptom: Double-clicking the shortcut (or Start Menu/taskbar) causes the app to flash briefly and disappear — no window, no error dialog. Confirmed workarounds that DO launch the app:
- Running the exe directly from an elevated cmd session
- Right-clicking the shortcut → "Run as administrator"
Now I even disabled the EPM in the Elevation settings policy, but it's still showing the same behaviour
Uninstalled the software and then reinstalled it, but still the same behaviour
