When creating a Scheduling Poll in the new Outlook, I cannot find any option to customize the meeting start times.

For meetings longer than 15 minutes, the available time slots are limited to hourly and half-hourly increments (for example, 10:00 AM or 10:30 AM). Quarter-hour increments only appear when the meeting duration is set to 15 minutes, which causes the meeting invitation to be sent with the wrong duration. For example, I would like to create a poll for a 1-hour meeting starting at 3:40 PM, but I cannot find a way to offer that time as an option.

Is it possible to customize the time increments or specify non-standard start times when creating a Scheduling Poll in New Outlook? If so, how can I do this?

Hi Avery,

Currently, there's no setting inside the Scheduling Poll panel itself to pick arbitrary or quarter-hour start times for meetings longer than 15 minutes.

As a workaround, you can bend this to get a :40 offset:

Go to Outlook Settings > Calendar > Work hours and location.
Temporarily change your work day Start time to something ending in :40 (e.g. 8:40 AM).
Go back and create the Scheduling Poll, suggested times should now fall on :10 and :40 past the hour, so 3:40 PM will show up as an option.
Change your Work Hours start time back afterward.

I understand this workaround is not ideal and I believe this process could be greatly impacting to your workflow, I highly recommend submitting a suggestion directly from Teams or Outlook by navigating to Outlook · Community.
