My teams app was working up until yesterday and now it takes me to a blank screen. I have tried to uninstall/re-install , power off and back on, look at clear cache and anything else that I could find on the internet yet I cannot access my office teams on my phone. It works on my computer.

What else should I do?

    Hi Ritu,

Based on your sharing, since Teams works on your computer, this is most likely a phone-side issue: mobile app data, authentication broker, WebView/browser component, device compliance, or a mobile-only policy. Since you have tried some workarounds but still not help, you can try these steps next:

    • Try a different network: On your phone, turn off Wi-Fi and try cellular data. If you use VPN, ad blocker, private DNS, or a security filtering app, turn it off temporarily then try opening Teams again.
    • Remove the work account from the phone, then add it back

If the issue still persists, the best next step is to contact your company's IT department and ask for their help since this issue may be related to your company's devices policies or app configuration. You can ask your IT administrator to check:

    • Conditional Access policies or Intune app protection policies that blocks mobile access
    • Whether your phone is marked compliant or Teams mobile is blocked for your account
    • Whether Authenticator or Company Portal registration is failing

In case you do not know who is your IT admin, kindly refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

Hope this information will help you move forward smoothly. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Hope to hear from you soon.

Since it still works on the computer and reinstalling, restarting, and clearing cache on the phone did not help, try these next steps:

    1. Sign out and force Teams to re-authenticate
      • If Teams shows any sign-in banner, select it and complete sign-in again.
      • Also check the phone’s notification area for a Teams notification that opens a sign-in window.
    2. Try Teams on another platform from the phone browser
      • Open https://teams.microsoft.com in the phone browser and sign in there.
      • If the web version works, the issue is likely isolated to the mobile app.
    3. Check network conditions
      • Switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data.
      • If the organization requires a VPN for Teams access, make sure it is active and stable before launching Teams.
      • Avoid switching networks while Teams is open.
    4. Make sure Teams is fully updated
      • In Teams, select the profile picture and choose Check for updates if accessible.
      • On mobile, also update the app from the app store.
    5. If this is a blank/white sign-in screen on Android
      • Update the phone OS and Teams app.
      • If the issue continues, update Android System WebView and Google Chrome.
      • If Outlook or other Microsoft apps are also showing blank screens or crashing, one accepted troubleshooting path is:
        • Restart the phone.
        • Clear app cache.
        • Remove updates for Android System WebView, reboot, then update it again.
      • Note: changing WebView components can affect app sign-in rendering until the update completes.
    6. If this is a work or school account managed by an organization
      • Contact the organization’s IT admin if there are access policies, permissions, or mobile requirements applied to Teams.
    7. If nothing changes, report it from Teams
      • In Teams, select Help > Report a Problem.

Because Teams works on the computer, the most relevant next checks are the mobile browser test, network/VPN check, and on Android, Android System WebView/Chrome updates.
