NOT Sync Teams meeting title from google Meet.

I tested the scenario in my environment by following the same steps and using the Microsoft Teams add-on for Google Calendar. In my testing, the meeting and chat displayed the custom meeting title that I specified, rather than "Microsoft Teams meeting."

Based on these results, I was unable to reproduce the behavior you are experiencing. This appears to differ from both your experience and the Microsoft documentation previously referenced.

Since the behavior is not occurring consistently across environments, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support for further investigation and official clarification. Because the custom meeting title works correctly in my testing, Microsoft Support may be able to identify whether a service-side issue, configuration difference, or another factor is affecting your environment.

For business support:   

• Find your Microsoft 365 admin: If you don't know who the global admin is in your organization, you can find guidance here: How can I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support    
• Submit a service request: The Global Administrator should create a support request with Microsoft to receive advanced technical assistance. For detailed instructions, see: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn    
• If your subscription is from a partner or reseller, contact the reseller's support provider to help open a service request on behalf of you instead.

I am currently trying to reproduce and test this behavior in my environment and will provide an update within tomorrow.

In the meantime, I found a note in Microsoft's documentation for the Microsoft Teams meeting add-on for Google Workspace stating:

"Currently, during the meeting, the meeting title will appear as 'Microsoft Teams meeting' rather than the title you entered in the invitation."

Based on this statement, the behavior you're experiencing may be expected behavior of the Teams add-on for Google Workspace rather than an issue with the user's account, licensing, or Teams client.

When you have a chance, could you please confirm whether other attendees also see the chat title as "Microsoft Teams Meeting"? This will help determine whether the behavior is consistent with the documented behavior for all participants or whether there may be an additional client-specific issue involved.

Is the affected user an internal user in your organization, or are they using an external account that is connected to this Teams add-on? - The user is internal and using internal company account.

• How is the Teams meeting being scheduled from Google Calendar? - it is being created by creating a new Google Calendar event and then selecting Add conferencing > Microsoft Teams meeting.
• Is the user licensed with Google Workspace, or are they using a personal Google account? - User is on company's Google Workspace (company licensed). Org. uses Google Workspace as the primary suite and Teams is used alongside it.
• Does the meeting chat title appear as "Microsoft Teams Meeting" for all meeting participants, or only for certain users? - yes it appears as Microsoft Teams Meeting, not sure about other attendees. Can check with user and get back.
• In the screenshot, I noticed an External indicator beside the selected meeting. Does the same indicator appear for the other Teams meetings shown in the screenshot, or only for this specific meeting? - The external tag comes because internal and external attendees are being invited, not because the organizer is external.

• How is the Teams meeting being scheduled from Google Calendar?
  • Using the "Meet now" option from the Teams add-in?
  
  • Creating a new Google Calendar event and then selecting Add conferencing > Microsoft Teams meeting?
  
  • Or through another method?
• Is the user licensed with Google Workspace, or are they using a personal Google account?
• Does the meeting chat title appear as "Microsoft Teams Meeting" for all meeting participants, or only for certain users?
• In the screenshot, I noticed an External indicator beside the selected meeting. Does the same indicator appear for the other Teams meetings shown in the screenshot, or only for this specific meeting?
