    1. Check Microsoft order history on each Microsoft account that might have used that card: sign in to account.microsoft.com/billing, then go to Payment & billing > Order history and look for charges with status Completed or Redeemed.
    2. If the Xbox charge does not appear in order history, go to the Manage your payments page and select Investigate. This is the Microsoft-recommended path for unrecognized charges and can help identify whether the card was used on another Microsoft account.
    3. Also consider the common causes Microsoft lists for charges that are hard to recognize:
      • recurring billing on a subscription
      • a family member used the card
      • a previously declined charge was retried successfully
      • multiple accounts are using the same credit card
    4. If the charge still cannot be found on any account, Microsoft guidance indicates it may be tied to another account using that card. In that case, contact the card issuer or bank to dispute the transaction and protect the card if the charge is unauthorized.
    5. If the charge is found and it is a subscription, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services, find the subscription, select Manage, then Cancel. If Turn on recurring billing appears instead of Manage, the subscription is already set to expire and should not bill again after the shown date.
