Why did all items in my recycle bin disappear in windows 11?? Tried suggestions given to Walt Bilosky in December. Hidden items area not a help. I have never signed up for the cloud. Am totally against it. A while ago I also shut off one drive, which I also abhor!!! Can you get my recycle bin contents back???
If your Recycle Bin was emptied automatically, did you perform a disk cleanup on your drive, or do you have CCleaner installed or a 3rd party anti-virus installed that may have a disk cleaning function that runs in the background.
If you had files in the Recycle bin that are no longer there, the only option would be to use some 3rd party recovery utility to try to undelete and recover the files.
