Switching Minecraft email to a new one
I have created a few emails for the time I have used Microsoft and one of my old emails when I was younger is connected to my Minecraft account, the email which I no longer use. I was wondering if there was an easy way to switch my Minecraft account's email to my new email so I can have better access with my account.

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Minecraft ownership is tied to one Microsoft account only and cannot be transferred to another account.

Steps:
- Sign in to Edit account info and open the how you sign in page.
- Select Add email.
- Add the new email address as an alias.
- After it is added, go to Manage how you sign in to your account and select Make primary next to the new email address.
- If needed, remove the old alias later.
Important details:
- All aliases use the same Microsoft account, password, contacts, subscriptions, and settings.
- Minecraft ownership is tied to the Microsoft account, so changing aliases does not move the game to another account; it only changes which email is used to sign in.
- If the old address is the current primary alias, another alias must be made primary before removing it.
- If the old alias is a Microsoft-domain address such as @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com, or @msn.com, removing it is permanent and it cannot be added to any Microsoft account again.
- A primary alias cannot be changed to an email address that is associated with a work or school account.
If the goal is only better sign-in access, a safer option is to add the new email, make it primary, and keep the old alias on the account unless there is a reason to delete it.
