I can't access One Drive from my Microsoft Teams Essential, and I am sick and tired of going round in circles with this stupid virtual assistant. When I go to my Microsoft account, One Drive does not appear under my apps as it used to.

    Dear @Chris Thirkell,

To ensure I understand your request correctly and to support you as effectively as possible, I need more specific information from you:

    • Could you share a screenshot of the issue (please remove personal information)?
    • Are you using a business/ school account or a personal one?
    • Could you open OneDrive app normally (through icon or web)?
    • Do other colleagues/ classmates experience same issue?

In the meantime, kindly try these steps:

1> Check if you can log in OneDrive normally

Open a private or Incognito browser window.

    Go directly to https://onedrive.cloud.microsoft/.

Sign in with the same work email address used for Teams Essentials, not a personal Microsoft account.

If Microsoft asks which account to use, select Work or school account.

    2> Clear Teams cache

Please refer to this article to clear Teams cache. Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

3> Try Teams on the web

    Go to https://teams.microsoft.com

Send the same image in a chat.

If it works in web but not desktop, the issue is likely local to the Teams client.

4> Sign out and sign in Teams

Kindly try to sign out and then sign in Teams again to check if it work.

5> Please also contact your IT Admin to do this via M365 admin center:

Go to Microsoft 365 admin center > Users > Active users > choose your account > Licenses and apps > find Teams Essentials

    Remove > Save

    Then Re-assign to your account.

I hope the information shared helps point you in the right direction. Please try the steps above and let me know if they work. If not, we can continue working together to narrow this down.

The first response may not always resolve the issue right away, but with your help and more details, we can work toward a solution.
