Connecting and synchronizing calendars across Microsoft Teams and other services like Outlook
Multiple users on Windows 10 report that Microsoft Teams shows the message ‘Synchronization isn’t available right now. We’ll try again shortly.’ The issue occurs in the Teams app and in the Teams web experience, specifically when accessing the Calendar area. It is not related to Planner.Troubleshooting already attempted
- Restarted Teams / refreshed the desktop session (including banner refresh when available)
- Fully quit and reopened Teams from the Windows taskbar notification area
- Reloaded the Teams web page
- Signed out and signed back in
- Verified basic internet connectivity by opening other websites
- Ensured Teams is updated and checked for updates again
- Avoided switching networks while using Teams (when applicable)
Impact / scope Affects multiple users (not limited to a single device). Both desktop app and web show the same error message, triggered when using Calendar.
Additional notes Because the issue impacts both app and web and affects multiple users, we suspect a service/network/tenant-side issue. Please advise next steps.
