Conversations among multiple participants for collaboration and communication in Teams
Hi @Megan Moehring,
I noticed that the AI-generated response has already provided some guidance. Have you had a chance to review them yet? If so, could you let me know which step you're getting stuck on?
Additionally, to make the steps a bit easier to follow, I've included a few screenshots below for reference.
Before joining the Teams meeting, turn on the Camera toggle and check that you can see yourself in the preview. Then select Join now. If you are already in the meeting, select the Camera icon on the meeting toolbar.
If no video appears, go to Teams > Settings and more (...) > Settings > Devices, verify that the correct camera is selected, and check whether a preview is displayed. You should also ensure that your device's privacy settings allow Microsoft Teams to access the camera.
If you're still unable to turn on your camera, please provide a few more details in a comment below because the forum AI cannot respond to follow-up questions:
- Are you using Teams on Windows, Mac, a web browser, or a mobile device?
- Is the Camera button missing, grayed out, or displaying an error message?
- Does the camera work normally in another application, such as the device's built-in Camera app?
- I also noticed that your post is tagged under Microsoft Teams for Education. Are you using a school account provided by your educational institution?
Feel free to leave a comment with any updates, and I'll be happy to continue helping troubleshoot the issue.
Looking forward to your reply.
