Additional file-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for Education
Hello Megha K S,
To make sure I understand your situation correctly, could you please confirm whether you are a student or a teacher, and where exactly you uploaded the incorrect file?
1/ If you are a student and accidentally uploaded the file to a Microsoft Teams assignment, please check whether the "Undo turn in" button is available. If it appears, select "Undo turn in", remove the incorrect file, upload the correct one, and then submit the assignment again.
If the assignment has already been graded, returned, or locked, the ability to remove or replace the file may depend on its current status. In that case, please contact your teacher and ask whether the assignment can be returned for revision or reopened so that you can submit the correct file.
2/ If you are a teacher and are referring to a file attached while creating or editing an assignment, please clarify whether you can see the file but do not have a "Remove" or "Delete" option.
If possible, please share a screenshot of the full page where the file was uploaded. Before posting it, please hide your name, email address, school name, assignment content, and any other personal or confidential information.
Once I can see the relevant interface and understand your role, it will be easier to determine whether you can delete the file directly, need to undo the submission, or require assistance from the teacher or school administrator.
Kind regards,
