GPU Temperature Not Displaying Correctly in Task Manager

Description:

I am running Windows 11 25H2 (Build 26200.9168), which introduced integrated GPU temperature display in Task Manager. However, on my system, the temperature for the Intel iGPU is not showing properly.

Screenshot details:

GPU 0 (Intel Iris Xe Graphics) — temperature shows "N/A", while other metrics like utilization and memory usage are normal.

GPU 1 (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050) — temperature is displayed correctly (43 °C).

System specs:

CPU: Intel i5-12500H

Laptop: Lenovo ThinkBook 14 Gen4+ IAP

iGPU driver: Latest version (32.0.101.7088, dated 2026-06-17)

Could you please help investigate why the Intel iGPU temperature is not being reported in Task Manager, while the NVIDIA dGPU works fine? Is this a driver compatibility issue, a sensor detection problem, or something else? {AD360B52-E139-4E35-9C75-AF97DCFF9F4D}

Yes, the Intel Iris Xe GPU temperature does display correctly in third-party monitoring applications.

As shown in the attached screenshot:

HWMonitor reports the temperature as 49.0 °C.

TechPowerUp GPU-Z also reports it as 49.0 °C.

However, in Windows Task Manager, the same GPU shows "N/A" for the temperature field. So the sensor is working properly, but Task Manager fails to read or display the value.

Please let me know if you need any additional logs or information. I look forward to your suggestions.

Possible cause can be the Windows compatibility with the particular Intel GPU and sensor interface or a limitation in Windows' current hardware support database or telemetry framework for certain integrated GPUs.
