Need help on how to add attendees to a teams webinar. I have set up my meeting and added the registration information, saved and published. I opened meeting on the calendar, am not seeing anything other than the copy event link, or a Join close button at the top right.

To add attendees to a Teams webinar after it has been created, open the webinar from the Teams calendar and go to Manage event. From there, attendee registration settings are managed under Registration.

What is available from the published webinar:

    1. Open Teams > Calendar.
    2. Select the webinar.
    3. Select Manage event.
    4. Go to Registration > Configuration.

From Registration > Configuration, these attendee-related options are available:

    • Event capacity
    • Require manual approval of all event registrations
    • Enable waitlist for this event
    • Limit registration date
    • Add registration form fields under Form > Add field

If only Copy event link and Join are showing in the calendar item, the attendee management options are in Manage event, not in the top-right buttons.

If the goal is to have people attend, the webinar can be set as Public so anyone inside or outside the organization can register, or changed to Your organization so only people in the organization can register.

To change webinar details after publishing:

    1. Go to Teams calendar.
    2. Select the webinar.
    3. Select Manage event.
    4. Change details, presenters, or co-organizers.
    5. Select Save.

Registered, pending, or waitlisted attendees automatically receive email updates if the webinar date or time changes.

    Hello @NLady,

Thank you for your question. In a Teams webinar, attendees are normally invited by sharing the event registration link, rather than adding them individually as required attendees.

Since the webinar has already been saved and published, please follow these steps:

    • Open Microsoft Teams > Calendar
    • Select the published webinar
    • Select Copy event link

    User's image

    • Paste the link into an email, Teams chat, newsletter, or another message and send it to the people you want to invite
    • Attendees can open the link and complete the registration form
    • After registration, Teams will send attendees an email containing the webinar details and their link to join the event

Please note that presenters and co-organizers are added directly through the webinar setup, while regular attendees generally register through the event link.

For more information, please refer to: Publicize a webinar in Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Support

I hope this helps you invite attendees to your webinar successfully.

    Kind regards,
