the teams link is not showing up when I create events

I do not see an "online option" or a TEAMS option. I need access to the link for invites but but there is no link for my newly saved event.

I noticed your case is tagged under Microsoft Teams, but it doesn't specify whether you're creating the meeting in New Outlook or Classic Outlook or Teams. Please follow the steps for the app version you're using:

Scenario 1: If you're using Outlook on the web or New Outlook

Open Outlook on the web or New Outlook desktop app

Go to Calendar and select New Event.

Turn on the Teams Meeting toggle, add the meeting details, then save or send the invitation.

Outlook will automatically generate a Teams meeting link. Open the event afterward to view the link.

Additionally, you can make all new meetings online by default:

Open Settings > Go to Calendar > Events and invitations.

Enable Add online meeting to all meetings.

Select Microsoft Teams as the meeting provider and save the changes.

Scenario 2: If you're using Classic Outlook

Open Classic Outlook.

Go to Calendar and select New Meeting. This will create a meeting event, and the Teams meeting link will be added automatically.

If you create a New Appointment, select Teams Meeting from the Appointment tab on the ribbon to add a Teams meeting link.

To enable Teams meetings for all online meetings:

Go to File > Options > Calendar.

Enable Add online meeting to all meetings.

Set Microsoft Teams as the default meeting provider.

Scenario 3: Alternative workaround

You can also create the meeting directly in Microsoft Teams. Go to Calendar > New Event, enable Teams Meeting toggle, then save or send it.

The event will sync to Outlook automatically and the Teams meeting link will be included.

If the Teams link is missing when creating a calendar event, use the path that matches where the event is being created:

In new Outlook or Outlook on the web
- Create a new calendar event.
- Look for the Teams meeting toggle in the event window.
- If that toggle is missing, sign out and back in, make sure the same work account is used in both Outlook and Teams, and update the app.
In classic Outlook
- Go to File > Options > Add-ins.
- Next to Manage COM Add-ins, select Go.
- Clear Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office, select OK.
- Go back to Add-ins > Manage COM Add-ins > Go and enable Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office again.
- This can restore the Teams option for new calendar invites.
If the event was already created in Teams as a webinar
- Open the webinar in your Teams calendar.
- Select Manage event to edit details.
- For external presenters, select External presenters > Unique join link and then Copy to copy the join link, or Reload to regenerate it.
If the event was created in Customer Insights - Journeys
- The Teams attendee URL is created only after the event is saved.
- Open the saved event and use the attendee URL.
- For registrants, do not share the attendee URL directly; use the event email invitation method instead.
If the event still does not appear correctly in Teams calendar
- Confirm the event exists in Outlook on the web using the same account as Teams.
- Verify Teams is signed in with the same account used to create the event.
- If needed, edit the event in Outlook and add the Teams meeting there, then save and check Teams again.

A key limitation: Teams reads calendar data from Outlook/Exchange. If the Teams meeting option is missing, the issue is commonly the Outlook/Teams account mismatch or the Teams meeting add-in not being available in Outlook.
