I NEED Confidential Compute capabilities in UK South or West with ACI

Hello

I have been working on a product which has an audit end of this week and needs to go into beta, however, I just realised confidential ACI is not currently available in UK South or West on in UAE or West Europe.

Do you have any indication when this will be available in UK or at very least anyway to request access if in preview.

    I think Confidential ACI isn’t available in UK South or UK West, and Azure doesn’t say when it might expand.

    If you want to use it, you’ll need to run the same container spec in a region that already supports Confidential ACI.

    If you need to stay in the UK, you’ll have to use another Confidential Compute option that Azure offers in your region, since ACI Confidential only works in the regions that already have it.

    Hello @Chris Russell

    No UK, No UAE for ACI Confidential - and no public ETA.

    Current ACI Confidential regions are only: West Europe, North Europe, West US, East US, East US2, West US2, Sweden Central

    UK South/West is not on roadmap for 2026 - confidential hardware (DCasv5/ECasv5) is still constrained in UK.

    For audit this week:

    1. Use West Europe - it's your closest allowed region for ACI CCE. Latency UK->WE is ∼15ms, GDPR still OK as EU.
    2. If you MUST stay in UK South, switch to AKS Confidential nodes (DCasv5) or Confidential VM + ACI on AKS - those ARE available in UK South.
    3. Request access: You can't. ACI Confidential is GA, not preview - there's no allowlist. Availability = hardware.

    Based on the current Azure product availability information, Azure Container Instances (ACI) Confidential Containers are not currently available in UK South or UK West. Availability of Azure services and features is region-specific and can be verified through the Azure regional availability documentation.

    At this time, Microsoft does not publicly publish target dates or roadmaps for when a specific service or feature will become available in a particular region. Therefore, we are unable to provide an ETA for Confidential ACI support in UK South or UK West.

    If your compliance requirements allow, you may consider deploying the workload in a region where ACI Confidential Containers are currently supported and available. You can review the latest Confidential Containers on ACI documentation and regional availability information here:
