I can not see information on shared calendar

My husband shared his calendar with me. He sent an e-mail. I accepted the calendar.

Although it is checked in "other calendars" the information does not show up on my calendar.

When I click the 3 bars on left of calendar, my calendar and Dan's calendar show. I have clicked on Dan's calendar. Nothing shows up.

When I do this:

In Calendar, select Home.

In Manage Calendars, select Add Calendar > Open Shared Calendar.

I do not SEE "Manage Calendars" under "Home."

There is no where to "add calendar" except where it already is- under the 3 bars, "other calendars."

I tried to share MY calendar with HIM. I was informed we are already sharing.

WHY CAN'T I SEE THE EVENTS HE PUTS ON HIS CALENDAR?

Dan (e-mail) would like to share an Outlook calendar with you.

You'll be able to see all details of events on this calendar.

Do you see a 'View calendar' button in that email? If so, have you clicked it? Are you able to view your husband's calendar? Yes I have clicked it many times. The computer acts like it is accepting. When it finishes, and I click “view calendar” nothing happens. When I go to the calendar, only my events show.

Has your husband attempted to remove you from the calendar sharing list and add you back? Yes, we have removed and reshared several times. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled. Nothing works.

Is this issue affecting anyone else, or is it occurring only for you? I am the only person involved.

Are you using the Outlook desktop application or the web version? Are you using the Classic Outlook or the New Outlook? Outlook web version. I go to “Outlook.com” to access. I think I am using Classic. I CAN open a desktop version, but I have the same situation- Dan’s calendar shows under “other calendars” but the events do not.

Which subscription plan are you currently using? I do not know How do I determine that?

Hi,

Thank you for your update. Based on the description, you are using home subscription. I would like to attach an article about "Share your calendar in Outlook.com" for your reference. Kindly verify that the setup and sharing settings are correct or not.

If the issue still persists. I recommend you contact home support.

Visit this website: Contact - Microsoft Support

Type Contact in the search box.

Now click Get help, and Select Contact Support or Sign in to contact support below.

Go to the Products and services tab, and choose either Microsoft 365 and Office category.

On the Category tab, choose Shared calendar.

Go to Confirm.

You can now choose the option of Chat with a support agent on your web browser.

Important Note: The Chat support team only works at certain work times, (Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm. Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) so if the last window says you are not available, try to open it again the next day.

If the shared calendar is checked under Other Calendars but no events appear, try these steps:

In Outlook, remove the shared calendar from the view:
- Right-click the calendar under Other Calendars.
- Select Delete Calendar.
Have the calendar owner share the calendar again.
- In classic Outlook, the owner can go to Calendar > Home > Share Calendar.
- Add the recipient and choose a permission level such as Can view all details.
Accept the new sharing invitation from the email message.
- After the invitation is accepted, the shared calendar should appear in the calendar list.
If Outlook still does not show the calendar contents, add it directly:
- In Calendar, select Home.
- In Manage Calendars, select Add Calendar > Open Shared Calendar.
- Enter the name of the person who shared the calendar.
If using Outlook mobile, shared calendars only appear if the invitation was accepted recently from Outlook on the web, iOS, Android, or Windows 10 Calendar. If needed, search for the calendar and add it directly in the app, or ask the owner to re-share it and accept again from one of those supported apps.

Note: opening someone else’s calendar directly in Outlook on the web can add it to that view, but calendars opened that way do not appear in all Outlook clients. To make it appear across Outlook clients, the owner should share the calendar directly and the invitation should be accepted from the message.
