Additional settings-related features and issues within Microsoft Teams for business
Dear @Paul Miers
The Service Address field in the Teams Admin Center porting wizard is a validated search field and does not allow manual entry. Microsoft requires you to select an address from the search results rather than typing a custom address. Here are some tips I recommend you try again:
- Search using the service address associated with your current carrier account.
- Enter the address in a simple format (street number, street name, city, state/province, and ZIP/postal code).
- If no result is returned, try variations of the address, such as removing suite/unit numbers or using standard address abbreviations.
- Confirm the address matches exactly what is listed on your carrier's records or recent invoice.
If the correct address still cannot be found, the address may not be available in Microsoft's validation database. In this case, a manual override is not available within the porting wizard, therefore, I highly recommend you create a support ticket in the M365 Admin Center to contact Microsoft Support to have the address validated for the port request.
