My notifications are set to unmute, but no notation of when they come in other than display. How to hear a sound when they come in.

    Hi,

If notifications are appearing on your screen but you are not hearing any sound, please check the following settings:

    Microsoft Teams

    1. Open Teams > Settings > Notifications & activity.
    2. Under Sound, make sure Play sounds with notifications is enabled.
    3. Also confirm that sound notifications for calls and meetings are turned on.

    Outlook

    1. Open Outlook > File > Options > Mail.
    2. Under Message arrival, ensure Play a sound is checked.

    Windows Settings

    1. Go to Settings > System > Notifications.
    2. Verify that notifications are enabled for both Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
    3. Confirm that your device volume is turned up and that Do Not Disturb/Focus Assist is not enabled.
