Hi samuel,
I understand how confusing it must be to end up with Windows 11 Pro when the license you own is for Windows Home.
Could you let us know how you upgraded to Windows 11, for example through Windows Update, the Installation Assistant or a USB installation drive? Also, was Windows 10 Home activated on this same device before the upgrade?
In the meantime, please open Settings > System > Activation and check:
- Which Windows edition is currently shown
- Whether Windows is activated
- Whether an activation error code appears
If Windows 11 Pro is installed but your digital license is for Windows Home, the Home license will not activate the Pro edition. You may need to reinstall Windows 11 Home so the installed edition matches your license. Before reinstalling, please back up your important files. If the Troubleshoot option appears on the Activation page, you can also run it while connected to the internet and signed in as an administrator.
Please share what you see on the Activation page, including any error code, but make sure not to post your full product key or other personal information.
