After briefly setting up our [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] Teams page for last year, we accidently deleted it. How can we have that page restored.

    Hi Otis,

Good day and thank you for reaching out.

From my research, it may still be possible to restore the accidentally deleted Team. In Microsoft Teams, a Team is backed by a Microsoft 365 Group, and deleted groups can typically be restored within 30 days by your Microsoft 365 administrator.

With this in mind, it may be helpful to contact your school's IT administrator and ask them to check whether the associated Microsoft 365 Group is still available in the deleted groups list by:

Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center > Teams and groups > Deleted groups

If the Team is listed here, your admin can restore the group, which should also restore the Team and its associated content.

In case you do not know who your IT admin is, kindly refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support.

However, please note that if the Team was deleted more than 30 days ago, the group and its associated content are permanently removed and generally cannot be restored. For reference: Restore a deleted Microsoft 365 group. User's image

I hope this information helps point you in the right direction. Please feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.
