I have created a new email, a work email and I signed up on Microsoft for Startups. I saw the $1000 credit option signed up for it but I connected personal LinkedIn by mistake. After all the other steps, I became ineligible for application.

Can someone help me?

I think the issue comes from using a work/school Entra account, and the safe step is to sign out, make a new personal Outlook/Hotmail MSA, and start the Founders Hub application again with that clean account.

For Microsoft for Startups, a work or school account is not supported for sign-up. The program requires a new eligible personal Microsoft account (MSA). Supported accounts include Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, Gmail registered as a Microsoft account, or a personal email domain registered as a Microsoft account and not managed by an organization.

If the account used for the application was a work email or company-managed account, that is a likely reason for the ineligible result.

    Recommended next steps:

    1. Use a new personal Microsoft account (MSA) for the application.
      • It must not have been previously used with Azure Free Trial, Azure for Students, previous Microsoft for Startups offers, or other Azure sponsorship/promotional offers.
    2. Do not use a work or school account for Microsoft for Startups sign-up.
    3. If the application is still pending, follow the confirmation email to delete and reapply.
    4. If the application was declined, reapply after 14 days.
    5. If help is needed with application or eligibility issues, use https://aka.ms/startuphelp-mfs-portal.

Also, application review typically takes about three business days, and credit balances can take up to 24 hours to fully update after account creation.
