My developer account email: o ** ******@outlook.com. I need the exact reasons, and what additional documents are required for the verification to be approved?

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

i believe, the failure is not about uploading the business license it means the platform could not match or validate your company identity and employment context against trusted registries. Typically this happens when (1) the business license details (legal name, registration number, address) do not exactly match what is entered in the account, or cannot be verified against government databases, and/or (2) the employment verification fails because your email domain (outlook) is not linked to the company domain, so there is no proof you are an authorised representative. To get approved, you usually need: a government-issued business registration certificate with matching legal name and registration ID, proof of business address (utility bill/bank statement showing same entity), and proof of affiliation such as a company domain email or an authorisation letter on company letterhead confirming you represent the business. Ensure all details (name, address, postcode format) match exactly across documents and the account minor mismatches are the most common rejection reason.
