Cannot create Azure Search service - regardless of SKU

Tried creating Azure Search Service with Free tier and get an error "An internal error has occurred. Please try again later. RequestId: ....... (Code: Unknown)". Troubleing shooting done:
- Thought it was an existing free service conflict. Tried Basic and Standard. Same error.
- Thought it might be region related. I was creating it in CanadaCentral but tried US West, US West 2 with the same error.
- Thought it might be something affected by Azure Policy in our org. Sign up for an Azure trial subscription on an individual account and still same error.
- Thought it might be portal related but tried using a very basic Bicep script and Azure CLI to set it up. Same error.
I first tried it last Friday and tried it again yesterday and today. Same issue. Anything else I could try?

Glad to hear that you’re able to create the Azure Search Resource. Sometimes there can be issues with the location when we try to change the resource location resource can be created.
