Organizing, editing, and coordinating meetings and events within Microsoft Teams calendars
Dear @Ellie-6983,
Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!
Based on your description, I understand that you are unable to edit or delete three older recurring meetings in your Microsoft Teams calendar, even though you are the organizer. The meetings appear stuck, fail to load, and return an "Unable to cancel meeting. Close and try again" error, while newer recurring meetings can be managed normally in both the Teams desktop app and Teams on the web.
Thank you for the detailed troubleshooting you've already completed.
Could you try to open and delete the meeting series from Outlook on the Web? If Outlook shows the same behavior, this may indicate a corrupted recurring meeting series.
If you are an Exchange Online/Global administrator, you may want to review the Remove-CalendarEvents cmdlet documentation. Microsoft provides this cmdlet to cancel organized meetings directly from the mailbox when calendar items cannot be managed normally through the client. The cmdlet cancels meetings where the mailbox is the organizer and sends cancellations to attendees.
For detailed instructions: Remove-CalendarEvents
If the Remove-CalendarEvents cmdlet does not resolve the issue, or if the affected meeting series cannot be successfully removed through Exchange Online administrative tools, you may consider opening a Microsoft support ticket for further investigation. At that point, a Support Engineer can perform a deeper analysis of the mailbox and calendar data to determine whether the recurring meeting series is corrupted or if additional backend remediation is required.

Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance.
Thank you for your time and patience.
