I have applied for github student developer pack for th 100$ free azure credits. It showed me a link to connect my azure account to github to activate the credits, but when i click the link it takes me to a page where i had to fill my college mail id and details again after which it just declines.
Could someone please help me understand why my university verification is being rejected and how I can activate the Azure student credits?User's image

Dear Giridhar,

Most commonly, the institution domain is not recognized by the verification system, there is a mismatch between GitHub and Microsoft account details, or the student status could not be automatically validated. Manual verification through Azure Support is usually required in such cases.

But try below:

  • Ensure your GitHub Student Developer Pack is already approved.
  • Use the same email address for GitHub and Azure for Students activation, if possible.
  • Sign in using a personal Microsoft account, not a school/work account.
  • Verify that your college email domain is active and able to receive emails.
  • Try the verification process in an InPrivate/Incognito browser session.
