Edge Workspaces v2 is a great feature, but managing a large number of workspaces has become difficult because they are currently displayed in last-used order with no option to sort or search. Users with dozens of workspaces need a faster way to find the right one.

Requested Features:

  • Alphabetical sorting (A–Z and Z–A)
  • Manual drag-and-drop ordering
  • Search box to find workspaces by name
  • Optional sort by Recently Used, Created Date, or Custom Order

These additions would significantly improve usability and productivity for users who rely on Workspaces to organize projects, customers, and research. Similar feedback has already been raised by other Edge users seeking better workspace organization and navigation capabilities.

    Hi @Hetherington, Kyle ,

    Thanks for the detailed write-up.

The best place for this is the Feedback Portal, which is where the Edge team reads and tracks feature ideas.

It's public, so ideas that receive votes and comments are easier for the team to assess and prioritize. Since you mentioned that others have raised similar feedback, it's worth searching there first and adding your vote to an existing idea if one matches. If you don't find one, you can start a new one.

You can also send feedback from Edge by selecting Settings and more (…) > Help and feedback > Send feedback, or by pressing Shift + Alt + I.

If you find my response helpful, I would greatly appreciate it if you could follow this guidance. Thank you.
