A meeting duplicated in Teams calendar keeps the old link and does not have the Join button

We have somewhat irregular meetings and I want to duplicate an old meeting to keep all details but have a new meeting. Unfortunately, Teams keeps the old link and there's no Join button anymore. The only way for us to join is by clicking the link in the description.

There's also the "Teams meeting" toggle, which is off:

When turning it on, teams says "Creating your meeting" and then throws an unexpected error. When re-openning the meeting, the toggle is still off as before.

Similar issues are ongoing since 2025, Microsoft, please fix - it's embarrassing that the core function of Teams does not work properly.

A technical support engineer can perform a remote session to investigate the situation verify the backend configurations, and run any necessary synchronization tools to resolve the problem. If the issue requires further attention, they can refer it to a specialized team for deeper analysis.
