I am unable to share my screen during my MS Teams session

Please help me to figure out how to share my screen. All I see is I would need to have permission, but I am unable to find it.

    Hi @NAZLIZA BINTE TOMARIPDDM0726TAB,

Since Teams is displaying a message indicating that you need permission to share your screen, one possible explanation is that you joined the meeting as an Attendee rather than a Presenter. In Microsoft Teams, attendees are not allowed to share their screen unless the meeting organizer grants them presenter permissions. This is one of the most common reasons for seeing this type of message during a meeting.

Could you please first ask the meeting organizer to change your role to Presenter?

Once that is done, you should be able to select Share and choose either Screen or Window.

Alternatively, the organizer can open Meeting options and change Who can present to:

    • Everyone, or
    • Specific people, and then select your account.

The organizer should only grant presenter access to trusted participants because presenters receive additional meeting controls.

For reference, you may wish to share the following articles with the meeting organizer:

If anything is unclear, or if you are actually the organizer and still cannot share your screen, please feel free to reply below with a screenshot of the exact message you're receiving when trying to share your screen. That will help us better understand what's happening and provide more targeted suggestions.

Thank you very much, and I look forward to your update.
