In Fabric, Power Query , On the toolbar ribbon, I selected the Home tab. Then in the Query section, the choose Add data destination is not working? What are possible reasons

Left pane -> Default data destination.
If something is already listed -> the button will not work.
so, please confirm are you working with which gen1 or dataflow gen2.

I got it, it was already connected to lakehouse by default setting. Thus it was grayed.
