Hi Karl Sze,
If the PIN box is not responding when you try to type, the issue may be related to keyboard input or the Windows sign-in process rather than the PIN itself.
Please try these quick steps:
1, Use the On-Screen Keyboard
- On the sign-in screen, select Accessibility (bottom-right corner).
- Open On-Screen Keyboard and try entering your PIN.
2, Try another sign-in method
- Select Sign-in options.
- If available, choose Password instead of PIN and sign in with your account password.
3, Start in Safe Mode
- Force the PC to enter Recovery by interrupting startup three times.
- Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
- Press F5 for Safe Mode with Networking and check whether you can sign in.
If the issue continues, please let me know whether the on-screen keyboard works and whether you're using Windows 10 or Windows 11. That information can help identify the most appropriate next step.
