I have created a teams classroom for an orientation onboarding, and for some reason it won't unlock the next assignment even if I grade and return the quiz. I have tried deleting and reuploading it, changing settings, everything. Any help?

    Good day Nicole C

Based on your description, grading and returning the quiz doesn't automatically unlock the next assignment in Teams. If the assignment is included in a Classwork module, its visibility is still determined by the assignment's own settings, such as publishing and scheduling options.

Please see the following steps that will help you verify the issue:

Check whether the next assignment is still a draft or scheduled for a future release:

    Open the affected class team.

    Select Assignments.

Locate the assignment that should become available next.

Check whether the assignment is currently in Draft status or scheduled for a future date:

    • Go to the Draft tab and check for the next assignment. If an assignment is listed, select the three-dot menu (More options) > Edit, verify the timeline > Click Assign now.

    • If it is scheduled, open the assignment details and review the publish date and time (Edit assignment timeline). If students should have access immediately, update the timeline and publish the assignment now.

Verify that the assignment has been published successfully and confirm that students can view and access it.

Note: Students cannot view a scheduled assignment until the scheduled publish time is reached.

I hope this information is helpful. If the issue persists, feel free to share any screenshots of the affected assignment when convenient (Please make sure to blur or cover any personal or sensitive information in the screenshot to protect your privacy).

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
