ISV (Independent Software Vendors) and Startups: A Microsoft program that helps customers adopt Microsoft Cloud solutions and drive user adoption.
Azure credits in Microsoft for Startups are valid for up to two years after activation, and extensions are not available.
If the credits have not expired yet, the supported path to receive more credits or more time is to progress to the next eligible program milestone or level when applicable. For some offers, milestone reviews are automatic and can take up to 30 days.
To check the current credit and billing status:
- In the Azure portal, go to Cost Management + Billing.
- Open Payment methods to verify whether credits are active.
- Open Billing profiles to review invoices and payment methods.
If the request is related to startup program benefits or Azure sponsorship, submit a Microsoft for Startups Program Support request:
- Go to the Azure portal.
- Use the Program support button.
- Select the category that matches Azure credit activation issues, credit expiration or usage questions, or related sponsorship issues.
If the subscription reaches the end of available credits, it transitions to pay-as-you-go billing, so billing information should be up to date to avoid interruption.
