How to view myself and participants while screen sharing using a Macbook and Chrome

I am using Teams on the web, and when I share anything (whole screen, window, or a tab), the teams meeting stays on a separate tab and when I switch to see the shared tab, there is no way to view the participants or myself while I look at the shared tab.

I can see the teams meeting if I move it to a separate window and can adjust the sizes of the shared window and the meeting window but I would prefer if the meeting was viewable without doing that. I have read online that at one time, Teams would minimize the meeting so it was all viewable while sharing, but I have not experienced that.

Is there any way for me to set it up so I can see the participants while I am sharing my screen without using a separate window for the Teams meeting?

    Hi betty skundrick

Based on my research, currently I cannot find any officially documentation of a setting in Teams for Web (Chrome on macOS) that allows the meeting gallery, participant list, or self-view to remain visible while you are viewing the shared content in the same browser window. The available information for browser-based screen sharing does not describe such an option.

If you are presenting a PowerPoint file, you may wish to explore PowerPoint Live, which offers a presenter-focused experience for PowerPoint presentations. However, this is specific to PowerPoint content and may not address the broader scenario of viewing participants while sharing an entire screen, application window, or browser tab

I hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reply.
