The framework for legally deploying and using Microsoft Exchange Server or Exchange Online, based on server and client access models.
Hi Pia,
Thank you very much for sharing the error details.
Before we go any further, I’d like to gently clarify that this is a user to user support forum. I’m not part of the Microsoft billing team, so I don’t have the ability to directly cancel subscriptions or intervene on billing matters. That said, I truly hope I can help review your situation, offer some guidance, and support you in finding the right next steps as best as possible.
Based on the error message provided:
"Microsoft.Exchange.Clients.Owa2.Server.Core.OwaUserHasNoMailboxAndNoLicenseAssignedException"
This indicates that the account is able to reach Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, but Microsoft cannot find an active mailbox or valid Exchange Online license assigned to the user. Therefore, this is most likely related to a Microsoft 365 email license or mailbox provisioning issue.
Could you or someone with admin access please log in to the GoDaddy Email & Office Dashboard and verify the following for this user:
- The user/email account exists.
- The Microsoft 365 email plan/license is active.
- The user has been assigned the correct email license.
- The mailbox has been properly created/provisioned.
If the license was recently assigned or changed, please allow approximately 30 minutes to a few hours for Microsoft 365 to complete mailbox provisioning, then try signing in again.
In the meantime, the user can also try the following steps:
- Try using an InPrivate/Incognito browser window.
- Try a different browser.
- If it works in another browser, clear cache and cookies on the original browser and try again.
Should the issue persist after confirming the license status and completing the troubleshooting steps above, I recommend contacting GoDaddy Support directly for further assistance. Since this mailbox is managed through Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy, GoDaddy Support can review the user’s subscription, license assignment, and mailbox provisioning status from their side.
I hope this helps clarify the situation. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
