Moving from Outlook (Classic) to Outlook (New) but can not download new emails as I can't "Add Account"

So the PST file with the email name and all the emails appear in the new Outlook, but the Account settings do not appear. When I try to add the account (which is a POP account from my company hosting service) it will not allow me, as it says "The email has already been added.". Sure the account email appears, but there is no way for me to get new emails without entering in the server information. With about 4 years of emails, I don't want to create a new account. Is this an oversight by Microsoft? If so it's a huge one.

    @A Perri

    Do I understand correctly - You are trying to add a POP email account to New Outlook for Windows but are not allowed to specify the account details and server settings. Because Outlook has already done an "Auto Account Add" based on you entering only the email address?

    If so, then you will have to force Outlook to let you use Advanced/Manual setup. See the Answer by "Hornblower409 Jun 5, 2026", "New Outlook for Windows - Force Advanced/Manual Setup" at

    If this is not the case, please provide some more details or try to describe the problem to me in a different way to help me understand.
