My new Surface Laptop 7 vibrates when it touch it. I find it very annoying. Google suggests that it is power leakage. Is there a fix? I'm in the Uk so the plugs are 3 pins not 2, so I cant invert the plug as a fix.

It's typically caused by a very small amount of capacitive leakage current from the laptop's power supply. The current is tiny but can be felt because the aluminum chassis is conductive.

A very faint tingling sensation only while charging can be considered normal for many metal-bodied laptops.

May be one of these is happening:

*The socket itself isn't actually earthed.

*The charger's earth pin isn't actually connected.

#Testing it with another genuine charger if possible.
