The appgw is in forever updating state, Even after disabling the AGIC on the AKS cluster,

/subscriptions/24b8e38e-989e-4340-b70f-3a3ec501d269/resourceGroups/RG-AKS-DEV-CUS02/providers/Microsoft.Network/applicationGateways/appgw-aks-dev-cus02

Tried stop and start operation using the cli, still couldn't manage to fix the gateway,

Thank you for the information. It appears the Application Gateway is unable to complete the update operation. Could you please share the error details from the failed Activity Log entries?

Hello Bhavani,

I reached out to the support team since we needed a quick resolution on this. They identified the issue as repeated Stop/Start operations in quick succession, which made the App Gateway resource unstable and caused it to get stuck in an "updating" state indefinitely.

The support team manually triggered auto-scaling on the App Gateway instance, and after a short while, it started working as expected.

No further action is needed on this. Thanks for following up — please consider this request closed.
