The PowerApps shows duplicate entries within Teams PowerApps > Build > Table

The Power Query table is good. I don't understand why the duplicates are populating on the Teams end table.

Any steps I should take to avoid duplication? Any Filters? I believed the queried table would be a replica on the Teams side. It's a weird anomaly.

    Dear Menz,

Good day, and thank you for reaching out to the Q&A Forum.

I understand that you are experiencing a few unexpected issues with Power Apps showing duplicate entries from your Teams Power Apps Built-in Table, along with a dataflow refresh error. As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your account or step into the backend systems to diagnose and resolve this for you. Unfortunately, my role here is limited to providing general guidance and solutions that you can apply from your side.

From my research, the MetadataEvaluationGatewayTimeout error during a dataflow refresh typically indicates that the process of validating the dataflow's schema and metadata against the data source has taken too long and timed out. This can happen for several reasons, and can occur even if the same dataflow worked previously. To be honest, based on the description and the screenshot alone, it is hard to pinpoint the exact cause with certainty.

Since this forum primarily focuses on Office 365 products and their native features, I would highly recommend reposting your scenario in the Power Platform Community, specifically under the Power Apps forum. This space is actively followed by Microsoft MVPs, Power Platform developers, and experienced users who regularly work on complex Power Apps and dataflow scenarios.

When posting, I would recommend including:

    • Details about your dataflow (source, refresh schedule, size).
    • The unique column you are using in the table.
    • The data source (Teams Built-in Table, Dataverse, SharePoint, etc.).
    • The error code and screenshot (with any sensitive information masked).

Beyond standard troubleshooting, the community also offers a wide range of tested templates and deeper technical documentation, which can be a great opportunity to learn from experts and refine your approach further.

If the Power Platform community is unable to resolve the issue, I recommend that the Global Admin in your organization create a service request with Microsoft Support, providing the Request ID and a description of the error. A technical support engineer can perform a remote session to investigate the situation, verify the backend configurations, and run any necessary synchronization tools to resolve the problem. If the issue requires further attention, they can escalate it to a specialized team for deeper analysis. For detailed instructions on how to get support, please refer to Get support - Microsoft 365 admin. If you don't know who your IT administrator is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

I know this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and I understand it can be disappointing when the solution is not straightforward. Please know that as a forum moderator, pointing you toward the correct, specialized support is the most effective help I can offer from my position. I truly hope you get this resolved swiftly. Wishing you all the best.
